Hi, I’m Greta — I’m so glad you’re here. 🧘🏼♀️
I first discovered yoga while living in Hawaii, practicing on the beach and feeling a deep sense of calm after each class. Over the years, yoga became a steady support alongside my many years in healthcare, especially during my work in oncology.
Despite that, I wasn’t truly listening to my body. Chronic stress and disconnection eventually caught up with me, and in 2023 I began experiencing stress-related seizures while living in a constant state of fight-or-flight. With guidance from a neurologist and physical therapist, I returned to consistent breathwork, meditation, and mindful movement — relearning how to tune in rather than push through.
Spending time outside — by rivers, under trees, and on the land — became an essential part of that healing. 🌿 It reminded me that yoga doesn’t have to be confined to a studio; it can happen anywhere.
That belief led me to create Nomadic Yoga. I now teach beginner-friendly, all-levels yoga in Billings, MT, offering both indoor and outdoor classes that blend breathwork, meditation, mindful movement, and connection to nature.
